My passion for writing and my quest for creating effective learning experience is the inspiration to start this webpage.
Views presented on this webpage are a cumulative result of my research and observation during the course of my journey as a student, teacher, instructional designer and digital learning consultant.
I am a strong advocate of using storytelling and exploratory learning in education.
My prime interest is in exploring innovative methods to improve school education, this includes:
- Improving teaching practices (key focus - Science and Math)
- Building scientific thought
- Facilitating critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Promoting imagination
- Using technology to improve learning experience
- Identifying engaging digital learning activities (includes game-based learning)
- Improving teaching facilities in a school
I have been a science/math school teacher and a physics lecturer for undergraduate college studies. I started my corporate journey as an instructional designer gradually progressing to senior management roles in the learning & development domain.
I have around two decades of experience in applying andragogy and pedagogy for creating effective learning experience.
My interest area ranges from ancient literature, history and science to modern literature and science. I like to study subjects that help me to explore synergy between science, philosophy, art and ancient heritage. The purpose of such study is to gather information from different domains and come up with ideas to improve learning practices.
